Free Volts is a collection of drone improvisations and ambient experiments recorded 2006-2008. It was never intended for commercial release of any kind, hence the word "free" in its title.

The album was produced with a minimum of hardware. Most of what you hear takes place inside the computer. A few exceptions, though:

"Första snön" is based on an improvised session with a Korg MicroKorg and an Alesis Wedge desktop reverb. The track was originally released on cassette as part of the fanzine Vänskap.

"Vielblütenhonig" is based on an improvisation session with a Zoom RhythmTrak and a Line 6 Pod XT.
